Still hungry for more?

If all of these events still leave you wanting more, we’ve got you covered. If there is one thing that can really bring New Yorkers together, its food. September features two of the best food festivals, straight from a foodies dream. First up is smorgasboard, a food festival that draws a staggering 20,000 to 30,000 visitors per week. With 75-100 food vendors it’s easy to see why. Located on Williamsburg’s East River on Saturdays and Prospects Parks Breeze Hill on Sundays, Smorgasboard operates from 11am to 6pm until November when it actual joins with Brooklyn Flea and moves inside. If food trucks are more of your thing, head over to the Governors Island on September 16th for the Vendy Awards. Featuring the best of the best food truck vendors, the Vendy Awards gives you an opportunity to experience some of NYC’s best food trucks all in one convenient location.
