Any seasoned New Yorked knows that brunch is the most important meal of the weekend. I mean can you imagine a world without hollandaise?!. Eggs benedict, beautiful pancake and french toast creations, avocado toast that coasts as much as a small dog and unlimited cocktails could it get any better? Being that NYC is littered with a couple hundred restaurants claiming to offer the best brunch in NYC, it’s sometimes hard to decide where to spend your Sunday afternoon. Don’t fret; we’ve got you covered. Check out 6 of what we believe to be some of the best spots in NYC to grab a bite, catch up with friends, and of course drink as many mimosas you can in 60 mintues for the brunch power hour.

Miss Lillys Café

With two locations, one in Soho and one in the East Village, Miss Lilly’s Café offers breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. While brunch is offered on Saturday and Sunday from 11-5 pm. With the Soho location being the flag ship store it offers a Jerk Shack, a Jamaican Style Diner and an organic juice bar. While the East Village location pays homage to the famous East Village punk scene while still having an 80’s Jamaican vibe. Miss Lilly’s drinks are as strong as they are tasty and they are always paying homage to Jamaica. Their cocktails are hand crafted and creative. Serving up their own edition of a bloody Mary aka the hot stepper, and bringing a refreshing twist to the Bellini with their one love Bellini that includes passion fruit and orange. For 35$ you can enjoy one brunch entre and two hours of unlimited brunch cocktails. Agave:

Located in the heart of Greenwich Village, Agave offers southwestern innovation “with a fusion of tradition”. Agaves offers both prefix as well as al a Carte brunch options from 11:30 to 4 pm. Their prefix brunch is 32.99$, it offers bottomless margaritas, wine or mimosas plus any item on the menu. With options like Lobster Benedict, Texas Pecan Apple Pancakes, and their sunrise fiesta burrito, it’s not hard to see why so many New Yorkers flock here Sunday Mornings.  Hill & Dale

Located right off Delancy Street on the Lower East Side, Hill & Dale serves up brunch from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. They do offer brunch plates for 15$, served with one side. Or, they have a prefix menu for 40$ which includes bloody Mary’s, mimosas, and one entre. Serving up everything from eggs, to pancakes to burgers, there really is something here for everyone. If you’re feeling particularly terrible that day, Hill and Dale offers up a line of drinks they call hangover cures. Some of these include the Copper Donkey ft. Titos vodka with ginger syrup, lemon, lime juice and ginger beer. On the lighter side they offer an Aperol Spritz, which is Aperol, Prosecco and sliced orange served on the rocks. Located in a trendy neighborhood and sporting a very aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, it’s no hard to see why Hill & Dale made our list.

BROOKLYN BOUND

We could never forget about BK! Brooklyn has been home to some of the most up in coming areas for quite sometime now, and their brunch game is nothing shy of amazing. It’s not just Williamsburg attracting all of the weekenders anymore, they have recently developed some stiff completion with other areas of Brooklyn continuing to expand and flourish.

Baby’s All Right

Although other areas are beginning to develop their own individual spots, Williamsburg does still contain some brilliant restaurants. Baby’s All Right is a Williamsburg staple, serving up brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 Pm to 4 Pm. Their bottomless brunch runs for 34.99$ for 90 minutes of unlimited Bloody Mary’s, Mimosas, or Greyhounds + one entrée. The only catch is that your entire table must participate. Serving up super creative spins on simple brunch dishes, such as their breakfast sandwich ft. Scrambled eggs, Gruyere, cucumber, arugula and Sriracha aioli. Giovanni’s Brooklyn Eats

Located in South Slope, Giovanni’s serves up home-style Italian eats at a super cheap price. Offering brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 3 Pm, for the obscenely cheap price of 18.95$ you can get unlimited bloody Mary’s and Mimosas plus not one but TWO dishes. It’s basically unheard of and you basically need to get down there ASAP. Frist course recommendations include roasted beets, walnut and goat cheese salad, and their fried ricotta fritters with fruit puree. You cannot go wrong with their French toast with blueberries and cream cheese or their egg Panini. Kettle Black Bar

Located in the heart of Bay Ridge, Kettle Black Bar is a known local spot. It is without a doubt the least frills brunch place on this list, so if you’re looking for a place to eat and drink like a local, this one is for you. Check the computer admin. Serving brunch on Saturdays and Sunday from 11:30 pm – 3 Pm, they offer simple American style options from flapjacks and potato and egg heroes, and steak and eggs. But don’t worry; they do still have eggs benedict (could this even be considered brunch if they didn’t?!) Adding on unlimited mimosas and bloody Mary’s for two hours runs for 10$ but most of the meals run less then 15$ a plate, so over all you will still be paying under 30$ for all of it.
